The Liquid Timer Zig Zag is a fascinating drop track. You turn it over and immediately two droplet tracks start running. The droplets in the tracks differ in colour and size, allowing you to follow both tracks closely. Because droplet tracks, lava hourglasses or bubblers are fascinating to watch, they are ideal for children who suffer from a lot of stimuli. Watching the drops calms them down. Great for snoozing. Conversely, they are also sometimes used. Because of the speed of the droplet track, this Zigzag Drop Hourglass is also sometimes used to stimulate children to actually look or grab.

The Liquid Timer Zig Zag is not really an hourglass to measure exact time with. But since many people like to know anyway, we timed this one for a while. We come up with about 1.20 minutes. So it is a fast hourglass. There are many different lava hourglasses and bubblers. It depends on the purpose (stimulating or calming) in combination with the child's wishes, which are most suitable.
