Turn the Lavadom upside down and watch in amazement as the coloured gel-like substance slowly sinks into the lower half of the cylinder. The gel sinks down in a string and coats the bottom in a spiral fashion. Children are mesmerised how gravity quietly does its work.The bubbles rising from the gel in the upper part of the lavadom are also fascinating to watch. Fortunately, everything moves slowly, so you can watch everything nicely.

This lavadom is among the slowest viewers in the series of 'viewers, bubblers, hourglasses etc'. Ideal for getting all quiet and fits very well in a snooze room. It can also be used well in the chill corner in schools or to soothe overstimulated children.

The lavadom is not really a timer to measure exact time with. We haven't timed the small lavadom yet, so unfortunately we don't know how long it takes it to run all the way from top to bottom. The big one takes about 1 hour and 38 minutes, so the small one will also take some time. So it is a slower 'viewer' There are many different lava hourglasses, bubblers and drip tracks or 'viewers'. It depends on the purpose (stimulating or rather de-stimulating, calming) combined with the child's wishes, which are most suitable.

The lavadoms currently come in the colours: lime green and pink. They are supplied assorted.
