Bottle Octopus
Normally, it is best to stay away from jellyfish. This jellyfish is harmless and actually very happy. It wants to dance all day long.
Don't throw away your empty bottle of orangeade or cola, for instance. Rinse it and fill it almost to the brim with water. Lower the jellyfish into the water with its tentacles down.
Now squeeze your bottle then it will move upwards while dancing. Squeeze no more then and you will see the jellyfish sinking down. Now squeeze the bottle firmly and less firmly, in a fast rhythm and the jellyfish will start spinning around to the rhythm. Fantastic!
By making the jolly jellyfish dance, you train your finger and hand muscles and thus your fine motor skills.
If the jellyfish doesn't feel like dancing anymore and stays pitifully at the bottom of your bottle. Then take it out and blow it dry. There are two small holes in its head. By blowing on one of the holes, you can blow the water right out. Let it dry for a while and then the jellyfish can take it again.
